1.Chemical industry.
Tantalum is an excellent corrosion resistant material, its corrosion resistance is better than titanium zirconium, comparable to glass, except for fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, acid solution containing fluoride ion, fuming sulfuric acid and strong alkali, tantalum is not corroded in most media.Tantalum has very good corrosion resistance.Tantalum and its alloys (such as TA-2.5W, TA-7.5W, TA-10W, TA-40NB) are more resistant to high temperatures and mineral acid corrosion than many materials.
2.Aerospace industry.
Tantalum metal especially tantalum alloy, such as tantalum tungsten alloy, tantalum tungsten zirconium alloy, tantalum zirconium alloy bar material can be used as supersonic aircraft, rockets, missiles heat resistant high strength materials as well as control, adjustment parts.Ta-10w in tantalum tungsten alloy can be used at 2500℃.
